Delano Associates Bio
Delano Associates, a Strategic Development Practice,
was founded by custom installation and consumer electronics
industry veteran, Buzz Delano in October, 2003. Delano Associates,
based in San Clemente, CA, consults on sales management, growth
strategies, new market plans, customer service and strategy
planning for manufacturers and technology providers in the custom
and consumer electronics industry.
Delano brings over 25 years of senior management positions in
worldwide sales, marketing, customer service and business development
experience to Delano Associates. Most recently serving as Director
of Sales for Sonance, the leading manufacturer of custom installation
products, he developed an extensive depth of relationships with
custom installers, designers, technicians and industry subject
matter experts.
Delano is active in several industry trade organizations such
as CEDIA and the CEA. Delano has been selected
as Education Deans for the Electronic Systems Customer Relations
(ESCR) course tracks for CEDIA for 2004-2005 and Delano is a
member of the Manufacturers Council. Active in CEA, presently
with the Distributed Audio Alliance and previously with the
Digital TV Summit, Delano also participates in many CEA industry
conferences. In 2003, he successfully completed an extensive
executive management development course, The Looking Glass Experience
at the Center for Creative Leadership in San Diego.
